　　For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay on the aging of the society. You should state your opinion and illustrate the impact of the aging of the society. You are required toexplain the reasons andwrite at least 150 words but no more than200words.

　　Nowadays, the development of China hassurprised many people,but we can’t ignore some social problems in this process, such as aging population. Many reasons could lead to this problem. Simply, new couples have changed their mind about marriage. Moreover, because of loneliness of older person, they require family members to spend time accompanying them, which actuallyisa big burden tosociety and their family. However, I don’t agree with that.

　　Firstly, when older people wereyoung, they made great contributions to their families in their golden times. Return is the gift of pay. So, it makes sense for elderly people to be taken care of. Besides,China is a state of courtesy, always focusing on filial piety. As children, it is ourresponsibilityto take good care of ourparents. It is our duty and obligation to careforthe elderly.

　　To sum up, old people should not be treated as burdens. They need love. They need us. We should try our best to make sure they have a good time in their old age.
