　　As is graphically depicted in the above chart, we can see the gross enrollment ratio in higher education in China from 1990 to 2019 increased steadily. Specifically, the years from 1990 to 2012 witnessed a moderate climb from 3.4% to 30%, which was followed by a rapid increase over the 7 years at 51.6%, implying that the enrolment ratio is growing faster and faster.

　　It is no difficulty for us to come up with some possible factors to account for this phenomenon. To begin with, the current society is full of competition, and it follows that low-educated students have troubles in seeking for satisfied jobs. In addition, the awareness of parents is another factors can’t be ignored for that with increasing household income, a growing number of Chinese parents are pouring money in their children’s education. More significantly, higher educational background, as an intended target, has attracting the bulk of students to pursue. Considering what has been mentioned above, I can draw the conclusion that this trend is positive and acceptable. Therefore, it is certain that this tendency will continue for a while in the coming years
