　　屏幕少年(screenager)指的是那些经常坐在电视机和电脑前，对各类技术信息领悟能力较强的年轻人。他们的生活中充斥着各种各样的屏幕，如电脑屏幕、电视机屏幕、手机屏幕等。精力过度集中于这些屏幕，会影响他们的体质和社交能力。一项调查显示，节假日期间有超过一半的中国孩子在各种屏幕前待两小时以上。他们沉迷于电子设备，患上“屏幕依赖症”(screen dependence)。这也是近年来越来越多的孩子出现肥胖、视力下降或注意力不集中的重要原因。
