　　一情景作文：人生哲理类(选择)

　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay commenting on the saying “For undergraduate college students, deciding what to do upon graduation can be a tough decision to say the least.” You can cite one example or two to illustrate your point of view. You should write at least 150 words but no more than 200 words.

　　(一)预测范文

　　For the vast majority of students, they have to make a choice between pursuing postgraduate studies and finding a job. When making this decision, students should consider a variety of factors, including their career plans and personal preferences.

　　The first factor that undergraduate students should consider when deciding between postgraduate studies and work is their intended career. An accounting position, for instance, often requires only a bachelor’s degree, whereas some professions may require a postgraduate education. Another factor that undergraduate students should take into account when deliberating on the choice between work and further education is their personal preferences. Some students may feel that preparing for the postgraduate entrance exam is too much pressure for them to handle during their final year of undergraduate studies.

　　When it comes time for university graduates to decide their next step in life, there is no right or wrong choice for everyone. Rather, each student must reach his or her own conclusion. By taking into consideration career goals and personal preferences, students can improve their chances of making an optimal choice.

　　大多数学生都必须在考研与找工作之间做出选择。在做这项决定的时候，学生应该考虑很多因素，包括他们的职业规划和个人偏好。
