　　唐装(Tang suit)广义上是指西式裁剪的满族(Manchu)服饰，而不是唐朝的服装。它吸取了满清服饰的款式和面料，同时采用了西方服装的立体式剪裁 (three-dimensionalcutting)。国内所称的“唐装”，基本上是清末的中式着装。唐装其实是中式服装的统称，这主要是因为国外都称华人居住的地方为“唐人街”，那“唐人”穿的衣服自然就应该叫“唐装”了。另外，国外的一些华人也称中式服装为 “唐装”，所以唐装的取名颇有国际化的味道。

　　1.西式裁剪:可译为cut by western methods，这里是用cut的过去分词短语作定语。

　　2.吸取:可理解为“借用”，译力borrow。

　　3.采用:可译为adopt。 ,

　　4.立体式剪裁:可以理解为“三维立体式剪裁”，即three-dimensional cutting。

　　5.华人居住的地方:可以用定语从句，即the place whereChinese people live。

　　6.唐人穿的衣服:本句可译为the clothes worn by “Tang people”，使用过去分词短语作定语。

　　7.唐装的取名也颇有国际化的味道:承接前一句译为giving the name Tang suits much internationalflavor。非谓语形式作状语，其中flavor意为“风味, 风韵”。
