　　But economists say families about to go into debt to fund four years of partying, as well as studying, can console themselves with the knowledge that college is an investment that, unlike many bank stocks, should yield huge dividends.

　　但是经济学家说，将要负债支付四年聚会及学习费用的家长可以这样来安慰自己：和银行股票不一样，上大学是一种应该会产生巨大效益的投资。

　　六级词汇讲解：

　　本句的主干是...economists say…。families about, ...dividends为省略that的宾语从句，作say的宾语，该从句比较复杂，包含多重从句，主干为families…can console themselves.其中，about to go into debt to fund four years ofpartying为介词短语作定语，修饰families，as well as studying则和partying同为of的宾语;第一个that引导的定语从句修饰knowledge;第二个that引导的定语从句修饰 investment.unlike many bank stocks为插入语，对college进行补充说明。

　　go into debt意为“负债”，fund意为“资助，为……提供资金”。如：

　　Our partner refused to fund the project.

　　我们的合作伙伴拒绝为此项工程提供资金。

　　console意为“安慰”。如：

　　I tried to console my heart-broken friend, but in vain.

　　我试着去安慰我那伤心欲绝的朋友，但是没有任何作用。

　　yield茌句中作及物动词，意为“生产;带来”。如：

　　I told you before such an accident would yield false results.

　　我跟你说过，这样的偶然事件会产生错误的结果。
