　　六级词汇讲解：

　　本句的主干是Henry Flores…credits this…strength to…。a political-science professor at St.Mary's University是Henry Flore的同位语，对其进行详细说明。

　　credit…to…意为“把……归结于……、归功于”。如：

　　He credited his success to his family education.

　　他把自己的成功归功于家庭教育。

　　He had the credit of being an enlightened man.
