　　【译文】可能会做祖父母的老人们会被提醒，如果没有孙子孙女在身边，他们可能有更多的机会和自己的孩子聊聊天，他们的子女也可能顺便有更多的时间陪陪父母。

　　【析句】复合句。主句Potential grandparents would be reminded that引导的宾语从句，用到了短语remind sb that宾语从句的被动语态。宾语从句的主句是it's more possible to have a conversation with your kids,who would have...parents作定语从句修饰kids，破折号中的incidentically在句中作would have的副词，起强调说明的作用。而without grandchilren around是介词短语作伴随状语。

　　【析句】复合句。主句A monthly newsletter would contain sotries about...and offer guidance on...,主句中包含两个并列的谓语动词contain和offer。how childless adults can respond to...tactics作介词on的宾语从句，而tactics后有that引导的定语从句。

　　3. When I think about all the problems of our overpopulated world and look at our boy grabbing at the lamp by the sofa, I wish I could have turned to Planned Grandparenthood when my parents were putting the grandchild squeeze on me. (2005. 阅读. 12. Text 1)

　　【译文】当我想到我们这个人口过多的世界存在的诸多问题，看到我们的儿子不断地抓弄沙发边上的座灯，我希望当初父母逼我们要孩子的时候，我应该向祖父母计划组织求助。

　　【析句】复合句。句子前面是when引导的时间状语从句，从句的结构是when I think about...and look at...,主句I wish+宾语从句。宾语从句中，主句是I could have turned to Planned Grandparenthood,could have done是虚拟完成时态，译为“本能做(但实际未做)...”。后面则是when引导的时间状语从句。
