　　1. 解词释义

　　Pictures有两层意思：一是“大局，全局”。如果说He can see the big picture.表示此人并非单单着眼于眼前的蝇头小利，而是可以综观全局，放眼未来，拥有长期规划的能力。二是“事情的主要部分，重点”。在上面的对话中就是第二个意思。

　　2. 拓展例句

　　e.g. Johnnie can't see the big picture. He's unwilling to wait. He wants to get paid now.

　　强尼看不到大局。他不愿意等。他现在就要拿薪水。

　　e.g. Oh, Elvin doesn't know anything. He can't see the big picture.

　　Ps 2：concentrate on的意思是“集中精力于......”。例如：
