　　Credit

　　Credit is of great importance to one's development. Without credit, one wouldn’t get trust from others, let alone get help from others or cooperate with others. However, nowadays the whole society is faced with “credit crisis”. To begin with, business is threatened by the lack of credit and trust between enterprises and banks. According to a recent survey conducted by the People’s Bank of China, a total amount of 367,240,000 Yuan debts were not paid off to banks by the enterprises in the year 2006. In addition, lies often exist between friends. Xiao Wang—my neighbor— was persuaded to buy certain insurance product and at last found that he was cheated.

　　We should take measures to improve people’s sense of credit and establish stricter laws to punish the behavior of those who do not have credit. Only in these ways can the credit of the whole society be enhanced.

　　信用对于一个人的发展很重要。一个人不讲信用，就不会赢得他人的信任，更别说他人的帮助或者合作了。然而，如今整个社会都面临着“信用危机”。首先，商业受到企业和银行之间缺乏信任的威胁。根据中国人民银行的最新调查，2006年企业亏欠银行的债务高达3.6724亿元。另外，朋友之间也存在欺骗。我的邻居小王最近被朋友劝去买保险，结果发现自己被骗了。
