　　一、Well, people may think differently of your methods but there's no doubt you're doing a great job.

　　六级词汇讲解：

　　think of意为“考虑，认为”，所以think differently of即意为“对……持有不同观点/看法”。there's no doubt意为“毫无疑问”，其后接同位语从句，此类表示强调的句型往往是听力的出题点所在。

　　六级考点归纳：

　　think和of之间还可加人其他单词构成短语搭配：

　　1. think nothing of意为“认为没有什么困难”。如：

　　The farmers here thought nothing of walking five kilometers to collect firewood. 这里的农民觉得走上五公里的路去打柴算不上难事。

　　2. think a lot of sb.意为“佩服某人”。如：

　　The pupils all thimk a lot of their teachers. 这些小学生都很佩服自己的老师。

　　3. think badly of sb.意为“不赞同某人，敌视某人”。如：

　　You shouldn't think badly of her. We all lrnow she had no choice. 你不该敌视她，我们都知道她当时别无选择。

　　二、Sailors took note of this long ago, and came up with the saying, "The farther the sigh, the nearer the rain."

　　take note of此处意为“注意到”。long ago意为“很久以前”。come up with意为“想出，想到”。The farther the sight, the nearer the rain.是一句与天气有关的谚语，意为“若可远视，则雨将临”。

　　口语中与note有关的短语还有：

　　1. of note意为“重要的，引人注目的”。如：

　　The museum contains nothing of great note. 这家博物馆没什么很有价值的东西。

　　2. takelmake notes of意为“把……记录下来，把……作成笔记”。如：

　　Would you please take notes of my new address? 麻烦记下我的新地址，好吗?

　　3. worthy of note意为“值得注意的”。如：

　　The series of events were worthy of nofie. 这一系列事件值得关注。

　　4. under a cloud意为“被怀疑;被嫌弃”。如：

　　She left the company under a cloud. 她由于被大家怀疑而离开了公司。
